Hi All,
After catching up with most of the parents, I have put together a week plan so that you and your child have a daily direction. This can be used as a focus and check off list. There was a discussion about an end-of-the-week reward, but I'm not sure how we can do this virtually - any thoughts would be appreciated.
I am aware that many of you are still working full-time and are busy with your own work, as well as, focusing on your child's. This is meant to be a guide. Please feel free to fudge this plan to suit your needs!!
Please book a time this week so I can catch up with each child. I will be asking them to read a book to me and they can share their writing/poems. I added a few more mornings. https://ddenny.youcanbook.me
I am planning on going into the classroom tomorrow quickly to pick up books, etc, and then I'd like to book 20 minutes time slots for reading groups.
I am including the video series for Read to Self. The children should be reading by themselves quietly for at least 20 minutes. They were doing this daily in the classroom.

I didn't include the word work on the daily plan. The children should be working on their words daily. They can complete the daily assignments and/or choose from the Tic-Tac-Toe sheet.
This is still new to me and I'm still trying to figure out how much to put on your plate and how much is too much. Please let me know.
Again, text or email if you need me for anything!!

Ms. Echevarria sent a class code for her music folder.
Go to Launchpad. Google Classroom. If you go to the top right hand corner of classes (Main Folder Page) click on the +plus sign and choose join. Add the class code p55atfq. It may take a couple of tries - of course - this has not been easy!!

Thank you again for all of your efforts in making sure the children get their school work done. Working full time from home and teaching your children all at the same time is not easy. I really appreciate it!!
